Please Vote on Our Orphan Angels Youtube Video!

Picture
We have the opportunity to receive grant funds from the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority. As one of the finalists for the funds, we are asking everyone to view and vote on the video that volunteers made of the shelter. Each vote helps us get that much closer to receiving monies for the cats!

Please click the following link to take you to the following website:

You must register as a user first but then you can vote as often as you want. Every vote gets us closer to being chosen as the final recipient of the grant funds.

The Rubbermaid Kittens

Picture
These kittens have a sad story with a happy ending. One day not long ago, some people arrived for work at a local business and noticed a large, plastic bin sealed tightly with duct tape sitting next to their dumpster. Curious to know what was inside, they cut the tape off and opened it. The bin contained a mamma kitty and her 4 babies! They removed them from the bin just in time as they would have suffocated very shortly for sure! All of the kittens have been adopted into wonderful homes - making for the best happy ending ever!

Ambassadors for All

Picture
This story will always continue to remind us why we do what we do and why we need the continued support of all of you. We rely on donations to help every kitty at Orphan Angels. We are a completely volunteer-run organization & every dollar helps. We could not do it without all the generous donors out there who want to make a difference in the life of a cat.

Please click the button below
to make a secure, online donation!

We are a NO-KILL, mostly cage-free shelter for cats and kittens that have been surrendered by their owners, found as strays or rescued in some way or another. Most of the cats roam around in a livingroom-style space. We do have some in cages that are either recovering from surgery or illness, are on medication, have dietary restrictions or because they might not be good with other cats.

Adoption fees are $60 per cat/kitten, which includes spay/neuter (if age-appropriate), shots, & flea & worm treatment. All the cats are also Combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

Please Donate Your Old Newspapers and
Soda Pop Bottles to Us!

Picture
Orphan Angels recycles newspapers and name brand soda bottles (Coke or Pepsi products) in order to help earn money for the shelter. This helps us pay for things like litter and medicine for the cats. With the help of the public, we would be able to recycle even more materials and hence, earn more much-needed funds! Your donations can be dropped off during business hours, or for extra large bundles of newspapers, special arrangements can be made by calling 814-504-3246. We thank you for all of your support!

Our Mission
The mission of Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats in our care and to promote a philosophy of spay/neuter as the only humane method of controlling and reducing cat overpopulation.

Our Vision
The vision of Orphan Angels Cat Adoption is to bring an end to the needless destruction, abuse and neglect of unwanted cats & kittens and to provide education, spay/neuter and adoption programs giving every animal an opportunity for a better quality of life.
